A WORD OF CAUTION

Most often when you schedule an appointment for a microdermabrasion consultation, you will be shown a series of photos that include before and after photos. Unfortunately, there has been evidence that some places have used distorted or misleading.

While the pictures are often valid pictures, the problem is that often these pictures are not property of the provider who is showing you. Often establishments that provide microdermabrasion will use before and after pictures that came from other clinics and spas that use much higher quality microdermabrasion equipment that renders better results.

The clinic or spa that you are visiting might not use the same quality of microdermabrasion machine. A good piece of advice is to check with others who have had their procedure done at the same place. After all, those testimonials are much more reliable than any photo could be.
